RJ Air Shift 6:30am-10am Mon-Fri

RJ is a native of Central Washington, having grown up in Ellensburg where he graduated in 1981. R.J. went into the Army right after graduation from High School. A graduate of the now defunct Bailie School of Broadcast (possibly because of the fact that it was next to the school of mixology and Bailie students got to drink the mixology students mistakes) R.J. is a 19 year veteran of the radio biz and has also worked for the Butte Copper Kings of the Pioneer League and the Tacoma Rainiers of the Pacific Coast League as well as Play-By-Play for Local High School Games and C.W.U.

The Professor  Air Shift 6:30am-10am Mon-Fri
I was born and raised in Yakima and attended Highland High School in Cowiche. I grew up on an apple ranch in Naches Heights and figured out that there had to be an easier way to make a living.

I always loved radio and hoped that someday I could be behind the mic. That opportunity came in 1974 with my first radio gig at KIT. From there it was on to KMWX/KFFM where I spent several wonderful years. In 1996, I was hired as the News Director at KXDD Radio.

My love for the oldies eventually lead me to Cherry FM where I ‘m the co-host of the Morning Show with Richard James. After 33 years in radio broadcasting in the Yakima Valley, everyday is still fresh and exciting. Thanks for listening!

JB  Air Shift Noon to 3pm Mon-Fri

Hey, it’s JB here to tell you a bit about myself. Well I was born in California, (shhh...dont tell anyone), my parents wised up when I was 2 and moved me to Montana, where I grew up and started my radio career. I've lived all over the state of Montana doing the radio thing, when the opportunity came up to work here at KARY. So here I am...I met my beautiful wife here in Yakima and we have a son who just turned three!
